Why does scroll pump system lead to
energy-savings? |
 |
 |
Dry
scroll system features not only clean processes
but also energy-saving. Scroll mechanism
enables torque fluctuations to be minimized as
employing not rotary movement but orbiting movement,
and also features lower leakage and high efficiency
as several crescent compression areas (pockets)
are created during the compression process.
Furthermore,
Dry scroll pump is battery friendly as no gears
and no gear oil are required as well as Dry Roots
Pump. Scroll pump makes more efficient operation
with high effective motor such as IPM motor as
it has scroll system with minimal torque fluctuations. |

Can you deal with cutomized products? |
 |
 |
ANEST IWATA can
deal with any customization as customer's request
with quick response. Please do not hesitate
to consult our engineers on special specifications
such as for tight leakage (higher prevention of
leakage), sealing with magnet coupling (No dynamic
seal used around atmosphere), high effective motor
and inverter (higher energy-savings), high density
gas (Also compatible with SF6) and high vacuum unit
combined with various turbo molecular pumps.
For more details, please feel free to ask our engineers. |

Are your vacuum pumps compliant
to RoHS? |
 |
 |
ISP and GVS series
and DVSL-500C/501C are compliant to RoHS.
Although vacuum pump is essentially exempt from
the RoHS regulations, ANEST IWATA actively tackles
with environmental issues under consideration for
the promotion of green procurement and installation
of our vacuum pumps into customers' devices. |

What is the difference between Oil-free
Scroll Vacuum Pumps, oil-sealed rotary pumps and
water seal vacuum pumps? |
 |
 |
Oil-free Scroll
Vacuum Pumps can always maintain a clean vacuum
and working condition since they do not use lube
oil nor seal water inside, resulting in no back
diffusion of lube oil and seal water.Oil-free vacuum
pumps can save oil cost, labor cost of replenishing
oil, and industrial waste disposal cost as opposed
to oil-sealed vacuum pumps, which requires all of
these. In contrast to water seal vacuum pumps, Oil-free
pumps can reduce running costs since they do not
need water control.Oil-free Scroll Vacuum Pumps
are environmentally friendly, economical, and have
low maintenance costs. |

What kind of mechanism the Air Flush
is? |
 |
 |
When vacuum pumps
sucks moisture or exhaust highly humid vapor, this
moisture will be condensed in the pumps. When condensed
moisture remains inside pumps, this remaining moisture
can cause failure or prevent the pump from reaching
ultimate pressure. Air-Flush is the device to exhaust
this remaining condensed moisture. Air-Flush operation
exhausts remaining condensed moisture and also is
effective in recovering ultimate pressure. Air-Flush
operation does not influence the change of ultimate
pressure. This is in contrast to the existing Gas-ballast
mechanism. |
|
 |
|
 |
 |
Is continuous operation possible when
the Air-Flush is opened? |
 |
 |
Yes, operation
continues even if the Air-Flush is opened. Exhausting
sound becomes a bit louder and the sound is generated
when vapor flows. We recommend the use of a magnet
valve (isolated valve) between the pumps and equipment
for safe operation. As for details, please refer
to examples of pipe arrangement, “connection
to vacuum system” of the instruction manual. |

Can we change location of Inlet and
Outlet? |
 |
 |
You can change
the position of ISP-500C by 90 degrees, according
to applications. We prepare ISP-500C only for lateral
specifications and upward specifications according
to customers’ specific applications. When
ordering ISP-500C, please specify which specifications
you need. (This is not applicable for other models). |

 |
 |
What kind of gas is applicable? |
 |
 |
This Vacuum Pump
is suitable for use on clean process only. Do not
use explosive, flammable, toxic, or corrosive substances
or substances that contain chemicals, solvents,
liquid or particles. ANEST IWATA will not perform
maintenance work on pumps which have processed hazardous
substances. |

 |
I would like to ask about maintenance. |
 |
 |
Our Oil-Free Scroll
Vacuum Pumps do not need daily Maintenance, but
require maintenance every 1 year / 8,000 hours (whichever
comes first) and every 2 years / 16,000 hours (whichever
comes first). Please check the hour meter attached
to the vacuum pump. Standard maintenance time differs
according to pump operating conditions. Please ask
ANEST IWATA Vacuum Pump Dept. or our distributors
for details. |
|
 |
|
 |
 |
I’d like to have it fixed. |
 |
 |
After having informed
us or our distributors, send the pump in question
to our vacuum pump section. We will quote you a
repairing cost. On receipt of your authorization,
we will do the necessary maintenance or repair.
Such quotation will require about 3 days. The repaired
pump will then be sent back to you about 7 days
after your acceptance of our quotation and authorization
to proceed. During the period of maintenance and
repair, we will make a replacement pump available
to you. Please ask us, ANEST IWATA Vacuum Pump Dept
for details. |

How is the Voltage Specifications? |
 |
 |
Regarding
electric sources applied to standard ISP
series, ISP-90/250C/500C are 100V-230V compliant
with single phase motor and ISP-250C/500C/1000
are 200V-460V compliant with three phases motor.
Multiplex Voltage is possible for standard models.
How
to select model is

Please specify when ordering.
DVSL-500C/501C are 200V-460V compliant with three
phases motor.
GVS series come with three phases motor and single
voltage (200V with standard model).
